How much should you tip, or should you tip a Skin Care professional?
I have been getting skin treatments micro dermabrasion to be exact, im sure the girls that provide the treatments aren’t paid very well and the company makes all the money. I’m thinking $10 or $20 per treatment? or is this something you really don’t tip for?
Well I actually work at a salon and get them done all the time. I don’t know about the place you go to but ours are individual contractors meaning they pay a weekly rent and they keep the money that you pay them. It is usually $90 for one, and people usually tip 15%. If she’s hired she doesn’t make much, but if she is an individual contractor she will make a decent living. All the estheticians at our salon drive either BMW’s or Mercedes, they’re pretty well off. Why don’t you ask her?
