How do I stop getting ingrown hairs/ Razor bumps on my face!!!? Men please answer!?

I hate shaving my face cause I always get those stupid bumps and they hurt! Yes I use shaving gel for sensitive skin and I use good razors but I still get them! Yes I wet the hair and leave it damp for five minutes before shaving so what else can I do?

Use a razor with as few blades as necessary to get the job done. Consider using a lather shave cream or soap applied with a shave brush. A weird tip that works is when you first see an ingrown bump pop up take a dry soft-bristle toothbrush and gently brush the area. Do it again night just before bedtime. There’s also commercial products like Tend Skin, or you can just crush up a plain aspirin, mixed with a few drops of water, and apply it to the bump. Wash it off after 5 minutes or so.
